Merciful like the Mandalorian
Ana (age 11) had a Bible test recently on the beatitudes (Matthew chapter 5, sermon on the mount). She had to fill in all of them and draw a picture that represented each. This was her picture for,
“Blessed are the merciful,
Matthew 5:7
for they will be shown mercy.”
I thought this was amazing—she knows the story of the Mandalorian and recognized him as merciful. Pretty neat.
She also drew a picture of me in uniform for Matthew 5:9, “blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
She got an “A” on the test

I saw this on Facebook and a tear came to my eye and was like oh wow! I asked Hickory, if I may share this on here and he said I could, so I hope you all enjoyed that too.
So true Ana! Mondo did show mercy in sparing the Baby Yoda (The Child known as Grogu). Now Mondo tends to Grogu and takes care of him. We are all called to do something similar, be merciful to others. Show kindness and care for them. We after are all called to love everyone! Part of being merciful.
I know that God has great plans for Ana and she will do great Kingdom work. This shows you, you are never too old, nor too young to do things for God.. Thank you God for using Ana to share this with us.
